Workplace First Aid

Accredited Courses

Child Revive provides nationally recognised courses which apply to workers in paid or volunteer employment.

Pre-course online training options are available for all courses, which reduces face-to-face training time.

Requirements

A student must be assessed as competent in both the practical and written assessments to be issued the Statement of Attainment.

The practical assessment of child and/or adult CPR must be performed competently on the floor for a minimum of 2 minutes each.

Provide CPR HLTAID001 Course Note

The standard minimum acceptable level of training for employees needing first aid in the workplace is the Provide First Aid HLTAID003 course (often referred to as a level 2 first aid qualification or senior first aid certificate). The Provide CPR HLTAID001 course is the annual CPR update for the Provide First Aid HLTAID003 course.

All our PARENT FIRST AID COURSES can be modified to include the assessment requirements for the workplace accredited Provide CPR HLTAID001 course. Please note that course content of the parent first aid courses remains unchanged as they are taught in line with current Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines as well as current best practice set by peak professional bodies (including The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne and ASCIA) and include all knowledge requirements for the accredited Provide CPR course. However, it is modified to include the assessment and enrolment requirements. There is an additional fee of $10pp. This course is valid for 12 months only and is not the standard workplace first aid certificate required by employers (see above). If you are wanting to complete this course at one of our parent first aid courses email your request to info@childrevive.com.au with at least 5 days notice as there is an online pre-course task to be completed.
